Oh please, Somebody just shoot me now.A free downloadable neighborhood when purchasing The Sims 3. So now I'm thinking "HA! I finally outsmarted you." So I click New Game and look in the menu and guess what, IT'S NOT THERE! You may now choose it from the New Game menu." So after the install when I bring the game back to front I see a message in game that says, "Your purchased world has been installed successfully. So this time I launch the game first and then from in the game I click on Open Launcher and then I do the install while the game is running. Well, I was able to install the old version and it showed up in game so I guess that rules out it being a problem with the recent patch. Next I'm going to try reinstalling the older version of my custom world and see if that one sticks. I'm starting to wonder if this is a problem with the recent patch. I tried uninstalling all my mods and tried again to see if that would help but no joy. What in the world am I missing? no pun intended

So then I exported the new version of my custom world again and moved it to the downloads folder then launched the launcher and installed and it STILL doesn't show up in game. So after all of that it'll be like playing a clean install except all the library stuff is still there. All game saves, All saved Sims, everything in the WorldCache folder, the entire DCCache folder, everything in the downloads folder I moved to a new folder on the desktop, and deleted everything in the exports folder. I've deleted everything I can think of and can't get the new version of my custom world to show up in game. Wow, I'm having this problem now and I'm near ready to give up on caw. I'm using the Riverview map, can it be that the game is somehow confusing Riverview with my world, although they are named differently? Otherwise I have no idea. The launcher says that "it's already installed" though. Any other ideas?Įdit: just to clarify, this is the first time I export the world (I wanted to do some testing). That time I think I fixed it by downloading it in-game, but since this is no store content, it obviously won't work. I remember this happening to me with Riverview the first time I downloaded. I also tried copying the file to the Installed Worlds folder with no success. The world shows up under Downloads, but is nowhere to be seen in the Installed Content tab, and it doesn't show up in-game either. I reconstructed the routing data, exported the world, opened the launcher, went to "Loads" (or whatever it's called in english, but where screenschots and exports are), selected the world and clicked on "show file", and then double clicked on the file to install it.
